The Adventure Begins

Today is the day. We fly to Lisbon. This countdown clock has been taunting us for so long.

We’re going to spend a few cool days in a smaller town outside of Lisbon called Cascais. Our apartment has a view of the beach. It will be a nice tranquil place to be in preparation of all the festivities to come. Saturday we will fly to Bologna (instead of Florence, thanks to some cancellation snafu). This snafu is not the first of our big group travelling, and we know it won’t be the last. Please wish us luck! But this one is ok, Bologna is only an hour away. Then, the whole family will be together in a Villa in the middle of Tuscany for a whole week! 

Thank you to our families and friends that are trekking across the world to celebrate this with us! Tuesday 6/28 is the big day!

Thank you also to my wonderful cousin Jess. You are making us feel so much better about leaving Moose. He loves you so much and we know he will be in good hands. 

Moose is taking the packing really well 😂
